クリスマスに思う、HONEYの遺伝子は不滅ぜよ！
昨日、一昨日はクリスマスやったけんど、毎年この時期になると、HONEY時代の事を思い出すがやき。実はワシゃあ大学を卒業してから5年間、東京でサラリーマンをしよったがよ。ほんでその就職しちょった会社の名前が、HONEYこと（株）ハニーやったがやき。今はもう、のうなってしもうちゅう会社やけんど・・・。
いったいどんな会社やったかゆうたら、元々は「Catch Ball」ゆう名前でキャンディーやチョコレートらあをバラ売りしよった会社ながやき。写真の「HONEY」のロゴと、バラ売りキャンディーのデザインを見りゃあ、1980年代にゃあ一世をふうびしたき、記憶にある人もおるろう。
ほんで本社は東京・恵比須で、近くの代官山にゃあいくつも直営店があって、当時は代官山と言やあ「HONEY」の町と言われよった程ながやき。昔懐かしい駄菓子の店「ハラッパA」、テディベア専門店「カドリーブラウン」、ハイセンスな文具雑貨専門店「キネティクス」。さらにワシが入社した1985年（昭和60年）にゃあ代官山ヒルサイドテラスに、日本初のクリスマス専門店「クリスマスカンパニー」もオープンして、どの店も「オリーブ」らあの雑誌にしょっちゅう取り上げられよったがやき。
HONEYに入社して、ワシゃあ1年間埼玉県三郷の倉庫勤務を経て、その後は辞めるまで恵比須本社の営業やったがよ。それからはもう、
「クリスマス」「バレンタインデー」「ホワイトデー」が稼ぎ時やき、夏場以外はそんなが一色よ。デパートやスーパー、キディランドやソニープラザらあの専門店で、毎日のようにクリスマスやらバレンタインの飾り付けをしよったような印象ながやき。
特にクリスマス商戦はは9月からのロングランで、11月〜12月はメチャ忙しかったがよ。営業やった4年間で、どれっぱあクリスマスツリーを飾り付けたろう？おそらく何百本、ひょっとしたら千本ばあになるかもしれんがぜよ。
とにかく12月24日〜25日は毎年、渋谷109や銀座ソニービルらあのクリスマスイベント売場の撤去やったがよ。クリスマスソングが流れるお洒落に飾りつけられた街を、カップルが楽しそうに歩きゆうがを横目で見もって、何千とあるクリスマスオーナメントの数を深夜まで数えるがは、まだ20代やったき、なかなかツライもんがあったがやき。今となっちゃあ、えい思い出やけんど。
1990年（平成2年）5月にHONEYを退社して、高知にもんて来て6月から司牡丹に入社したがやけんど、しばらくは、同期の連中も多かったき、HONEYの仲間ともよう連絡し合いよったがよ。それがいつの間にか連絡し合わんようになってきた頃、風のウワサでHONEYがつぶれたっちゅう話しを耳にしたがやき。当時の仲間もみんなあバラバラよ。なんか故郷がひとつ、のうなってしもうたような、そんな気持ちになった記憶があるがぜよ。
けんど、あの素敵なHONEYの遺伝子は、今でもあちらこちらで息づいちょって、不滅ながやき。HONEYグループはいろいろな事業をやりよったけんど、全てに共通しちゅうコンセプトは「Just my favorite stuff」、これを「好きなカタチいろいろ」と訳すがよ。
例えば、好きなキャンディーやチョコレートらあを好きなばあ選んで、好きな袋や箱に入れて好きなラッピングをして、好きな人にプレゼントする・・・そんなワクワクのお手伝いをするがが、HONEYグループの仕事であり、遺伝子やったがやないろうか。
クリスマスやち、何十種類もある中から好きなツリーを選べたし、飾りつけるオーナメントにいたっちゃあ、何千種類とあったがよ。バレンタインやち手作りチョコも提案して、好きな味、好きな形、好きなパッケージが、たるばあある中から選べたがやき。「好きなカタチいろいろ」・・・今じゃち通用する、否、今こそ必要とされちゅうコンセプトやないろうかねや。
ほんでHONEYの遺伝子やけんど、本社はつぶれたち、まずはグループ会社2社が健在ながよ。1社は（株）リボン・シンジケート（江戸川区南葛西6-34-9
TEL:03-3804-8121）。何千種類ものロールリボンの中から、好きなリボンを好きなばあの長さで買えるっちゅうスタイルで、リボンやラッピングペーパーやギフトボックス、ファッション雑貨らあを扱う会社ながやき。

ここも、季節に合わせて何百種類もの「てぬぐい」が美しゅうにディスプレーされて、好きな柄や色を選べるがぜよ。ちなみに、司牡丹の山廃純米「かまわぬ」の命名も、ここから来ちゅうがやき。
また「クリスマスカンパニー」も人手に渡ったとはいえ、ヒルサイドテラスのお店は残っちゅうがよ。さらにHONEYで育った数多くのデザイナーが、様々な分野の第一線で活躍しゆうがぜよ。ちなみに今や有名人の北原照久さんは取引先やって、HONEYに多大な影響を受けて、ブリキの玩具集めの趣味を「ブリキのおもちゃ博物館」っちゅう夢に結晶させたがやき。
そして、我が家でも毎年HONEYのクリスマスツリーとスノーマンライトが飾られゆうし、ワシやちHONEYの遺伝子をチビッとは受け継がいてもろうて、司牡丹の中で発揮さいてもらいゆうがぜよ。
そういやあ1週間ばあ前に、久々にHONEY時代の仲間から連絡があったがやき。久しぶりに4〜5人で集まって、恵比須で飲みゆうっちゅうて、ケータイに留守録が入っちょったがよ。やっぱりおまんらあも、遺伝子を受け継いじゅうがやろうのお。来年は是非ワシも参加するきに、東京で集まって一緒に楽しい酒を飲もうぜや！

〈12月27日〉「浅草仲見世記念日」
1885年（明治18年）のこの日、東京・浅草の仲見世が新装開業したき、「浅草仲見世記念日」ながやと。文明開化の時代にふさわしゅう、レンガ造りとなった新店舗は、東側に82軒、西側に57軒の計139軒が開店したがぜよ。ちなみにこれらあの店は、1923年（大正12年）の関東大震災で倒壊したけんど、その後鉄筋の建物として再建されたがやき。
ほいたらこの日は、浅草名物を肴に飲もうぜや。浅草名物ゆうたら、浅草海苔、どじょう鍋、穴子、ムギトロらあやろうかのお。浅草海苔を使うた手巻き寿司パーティらあもえいがやき。ほんなら酒は日本酒ながよ。純米酒を、冷やにしたりぬる燗にしたりして楽しんでみろうぜや。

はじめまして。音楽関係の雑貨のアートディレクションをしています、まついと申します。 ひょんなことから10年ぶりに一般流通の雑貨デザインの会社に移ることになりまして、調べものをしておりましたら、このブログを発見しました。 HONEY のことこが書かれていて懐かしく読ませていただきました。キネティクスはいいお店でしたね。HONEYがなくなってしまったのはとても残念です。ちなみに私は1969生まれです。

こんにちは。かまわぬを検索していてたどり着きました、じゅんこと申します。HONEYのカタログの写真をみて、そういえば最近みかけないなと懐かしく思いました。何より、カタログの上段のキャンディーの味を全部覚えている自分に驚きました。左がミルクベースで、真ん中がフルーツキャラメルで、右がソーダ味でした。大好きだったので、ここで出会えて幸せです。

2年ほど勤めていました。懐かしいパッケージにあの頃を思い出しました。
去年のクリスマスに｢これってぜったいHONEYの商品!｣と社名を見たら違っててがっかり。
そういえばHONEYってどうなっちゃったんだろう?と検索して見つけました。
とにかくクリスマスとバレンタインデーは忙しくて、新商品が楽しみで、
納品の開梱のワクワクを今でも覚えています。
そんなあの頃のハニーの想い出は私の心のハラッパAです。
もう辞めて15年以上経ったのかと気がつき、びっくりしてしまいました。
顔は覚えているけど、お名前が思い出せない社員の方々みなさんお元気でしょうか。。

代官山・・・ヒルサイドテラス・・・懐かしくていろいろ検索していてたどり着きました。ずいぶん前の記事にコメントしてすみません<(_ _)>
私もなのですが私の妹がHONEYのデザインが大好きでした。
確か当時のデザイナーさんか経営もされていたかよく覚えていないのですが妹が ヌーさん と呼んでいた方がいらっしゃると思うのですがご存じですか？1970年代半ば位だったかと思うのですが・・・。ご本名も聞いていたような気がしますが忘れてしまいました。今はどうなさっていらしゃるでしょうか。

HONEYを調べていて偶然このブログにたどり着いたわけですが、他の記事も楽しく読ませていただきました。
今では酒造元の社長さんが、あのHONEYに勤務していらしたことも興味深いです。今のお仕事にHONEYでの経験が少なからずいかされているのでしょうね。
それから、前のコメントで ヌーさん、と書きましたがご本名を思い出しました。たしか いわさきしんさく さんです。ご存じですか？私の妹がどちらかでお会いしてお手紙のやりとりなどしていたと思います。記憶が定かではありませんが、お会いしたのはまだヒルサイドテラスではなく横浜ではなかったかと思います。その後ヒルサイドテラスのお店に行き、私もヌーさんにお会いしたことがあります。

こんにちは、1983年に新卒で入社（東京ディズニーランド創立の年）し、二年ほど働いてしました者です。たまたまこのブログにたどりつき懐かしく思いコメントしたいと思います。私が退社した後に入社されたと思いますので私と面識はないのですが、コメントの内容はわかります。かなり昔ですが会社としては清算・解散したような情報を聞いたのですが、いつごろまで会社があったのでしょうか？社長さんは今も元気でしょうか？ 特に印象に残っている社員は、電算の近藤さん、皆川さん、倉持さん、商品部の二瓶さん、営業では、同期の宇佐美さんとか、近藤さん、関西支店の西田さんはボーリングがうまかった・・。今回とても懐かしく不思議な気分になりました。これからもブログの方頑張ってください。

私の場合は同じマンションに住んでいたカイガクさんという方のご紹介で兄がHONEYに就職、一年目から関西支社で営業をしていました。その年だったか翌年だったか、私は学生アルバイトでクリスマスからバレンタインの期間、渋谷109内のソニープラザでHONEY製品のキャンディやらチョコレートやらを売る販売員をしていました。
1979年のことでした。確か担当の営業マンさんは高橋さんという方だったと思います。
それからもう30年以上も経ちますが、今もその頃の製品を鮮やかに思い出します。
クリスマストイズの近くに住んでおり、たまに覗いたりすると北原さんにもHONEYの影響を少なからず受けていることがしのばれます。
あのアルバイトは忘れられない10代後半の素敵な思い出です。

ラフォーレ原宿のB1にあった「しいそう」でバイトしていた者です。
当時、高校生だったのですがHONEYさんのチョコやキャンディや雑貨が大好きで、新商品が楽しみでした(^^)
リボンやラッピング用紙の計り売りもありましたよね。
店長（かさいさん）に言われてクリスマスカンパニーも見に行きました(笑)
今でも、私のポップ書いたりディスプレイ（ネコにキャンディ入れたり）はあの頃のHONEYさんの見せ方が基本になってます！
一生忘れないお店です。当時小学校低学年で近所に住んでいて通ったはらっぱえーは、一生忘れません。
紙袋の匂い、駄菓子の香り、入った瞬間の味わったことなかった感動は一生忘れません。お店はなくても心の中に生きております。
スイマーも好きでなくなるまで、よく行ってました。驚きです。
驚いたのは、雑貨屋で何年も働いていた独身の頃の取引先の一社がリボンさんでした。
まさか自分が関わっていたんだと、雑貨屋を寿退社後10年後に知るとは思わなかったです。
